Probation Violation

If you are alleged to have violated your probation, a probation officer may petition the Court for a violation of probation against you and authorize the issuance of a warrant for a probationer\\'s arrest.

If you’re found to have violated your probation, the prosecutor may request:

  • that additional conditions of probation be imposed
  • that the probation period be extended
  • or that a period of incarceration be ordered, followed by a return to probation.

When you’ve been charged with a probation violation, it’s important to consult with a criminal defense attorney immediately.

Robert M. Dumes is an experienced criminal defense attorney who will work to understand the nature of your probation and alleged violation.
